Becoming Worthy: My Journey to Building a Global Sisterhood

Growing up, I watched my mother, who had me at just nineteen,  blossom whenever she was surrounded by women. At the time, I didn’t understand the magic I was witnessing. I simply saw her come alive in spaces filled with laughter, creativity, beauty, wisdom, and connection.

It wasn’t until I became a mother myself that I realised just how essential and truly non-negotiable  it is for women to be held in community. Women who inspire you. Women who challenge you. Women who wrap you in love while reminding you of your brilliance. Women who give, create, dream, and rise together.

That early imprint became the heartbeat of Worthy. It shaped my desire to continue expanding and deepening the impact of the communities I build. It taught me that when women gather, generations change. That when a woman is supported, her children thrive… her relationships thrive… her purpose thrives. And now, decades later, I see how those circles my mother sat in shaped the kind of mother, leader, and woman I am today.

The Evolution of Worthy

I didn’t set out to create a business, I set out to answer a calling. Worthy was born from a deep desire to create spaces where women could be whole and seen, and celebrated for who they are. What started as an idea has now become a global movement: events, conversations, collaborations, and circles that elevate women into their highest expression.

Every time a woman steps into a Worthy space, the ripple grows.

Every story, every brand, every vision shared expands the collective.

And that expansion fuels me. Truly,  it lights me up!! It gives me purpose, passion, and gratitude in ways I can’t fully put into words. Through this work, I’ve met some of the most incredible women on earth, and it has made me a better mother, a more present wife, and a more intentional leader. I now get to pass deeper wisdom and perspective on to my daughter,  a gift that began with my own mother’s circle.

Insights From the Journey

1. Alignment creates impact.

When you lead from your truth, the right women find you.  Be proud of who you are don’t be afraid to share your voice. 

2. Big visions require brave hearts.

Let your dreams stretch you. Let them terrify you just enough to keep growing.  Planning Worthy London felt impossible at times but it turned out more amazing then I could have ever imagined!

3. Community is an ecosystem.

Women don’t gather for performance -they gather for transformation.  Create conversations that feel expansive .

4. Purpose evolves with every woman you meet.

The more stories you hold, the more layers you gain as a leader.  Every women who I’ve held space with had impacted me.

Advice for Women Building Community

If I could offer anything to the women rising into leadership, it would be this:

Be diverse.

Invite women of different backgrounds, stories, and perspectives. That’s where the richness is.

Think big.

Dream beyond your city. Dream beyond your comfort zone. Dream globally.

Add value.

Pour into your people generously… they will feel it.

Stay humble.

Impact isn’t about spotlight - it’s about service.

Be creative.

Your originality is your superpower. Sprinkle in your magic.

Just start.

Don’t wait for perfect. Begin with what you have and let the vision grow with you.
